Keller is Still a Pretty Lake

Say what you want about how the neighborhood has changed down there and I will probably agree with you,, ,Crime, Pollution,etc...  But one thing that Is still nice about being on Laguna street @ Keller lake is the view of Mt Diablo across the water..Not quite the view that the Kellers must have had before all the houses and apartments went in ... Still one of the nicer views here in Concord after all these years though....

Built in 1902-03 by L.V. Perry for Henry (Harry) and Elodia Keller,The Keller House was initially located at the southeast corner of Galindo and Clayton Road. Paul and Marie Keller acquired the house in 1912 when his brother, Harly, purchased a large ranch in Clayton. Paul was founder of the P.L. Keller Hardware store, was City Clerk (1910-1914), and was very active in civic and cultural affairs....Members of the Keller Family are buried at the  Live Oak --- Cemetery...

Thank you for your comments on Keller Lake. My neighbors and I, whose properties back up to the Lake, have been trying to learn more about its history -- when it was dug or developed and why, who owns it, etc.. Can you point us in the direction to obtain any of that information?

Thanks
