The Kitchen Sink !

Hungry??? Are you REALLY hungry?? Well I hope so, because not so well known as it should be is the San Francisco Creamery located at 1370 Locust Street, Walnut Creek, Ca 94596. Drawing its origins out of the 30's and 40's the creamery stays true to the San Francisco way of ice cream making and purveying. Offering a wide variety of ice cream and full menu of burgers, pastas, appetizers and more. However there is a secret that this creamery has and that secret is.... THE KITCHEN SINK.... The kitchen sink is a food contest like unto that of the 72 oz steak contest from The Big Texan in Amarillo T. It consists of. 3 sliced bananas,8 scoops of your choice of up to 8 choices of ice creams, 8 servings of toppings, mounds and mounds of whipped cream, chopped toasted almonds and cherries. Its approx 2 gallons of ice cream made to serve 6.. If you can sit down and under the rules which include, no getting up, no help etc... Eat the kitchen sink within 30 mins you get a year of free ice cream and your picture in the hall of fame of not many people who have been able to complete such a feat. Myself having successfully eatin the Steak and fixins from The Big Texan I went into the San Fransisco creamery thinking PSSHH no big deal to eat some ice cream.. WRONG!!! This massive, behemoth, amalgamation of a mountain of sweet delight is quite an formidable opponent. A word to the wise if you decide you would like to try this feat, buy some french fries. I know your saying but smoke screen that's more food in my tummy I don't want to do that. TRUST ME the salt helps after about 15 mins you need it. I would like to wish you all good luck in your searches for amazing food and good luck if you dare to tackle... THE KITCHEN SINK....Sink...Sink....Sink....(Hey everyone  Smokey here ,,,this post is from my new Photagrapher/co-author ) ...who will also be adding sports to SmokeysMountain... allow me to introduce

Yech! I am against the show business form of eating. It is unhealthy, unenjoyable, and disgusting. It's like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer, and calling it exercise. It is contributing to the sink, sink, sink of our civilization. No thanks.

Your right, I would like to encourage people to do everything in moderation. Not just when it comes to food but when it comes to everything in life. If you take things to an extreme it can be very bad. The San Francisco Creamery is a fantastic place to eat with incredible food. The kitchen sink is designed to be a family shared dessert. With a beautiful display. Its like 50's style sharing a milkshake with your loved one.. Everybody dig in and enjoy!!!
